Employees working at our company not only have a unique individual personality, but also are connected with a strong partnership. That is the foundation of our consulting farm, creating unique ideas that cannot be imitated by other companies, and enabling us to provide full corporate backup. As such, in order to lead a collective of employees who possess both partnership and ownership in one direction, working top-down or by giving orders are never effective. So for me, as the leader of the organization, the most important thing is the leader image of a servant leadership. In other words, it is important to have the capacity to genuinely accept, while listening to the opinions of various people. This is my management style.
Using the music world which I like as an example, it is similar to a string quartet player. Unlike an orchestra with an absolute leader in the form of a conductor, there is no conductor in a string quartet. Instead, each member will demonstrate his / her role and personality, and he / she will be asked for leadership more than anything else. Even if a conductor is absent, the group can still function as one unit, and play one piece of music. This is a string quartet player in my opinion, and I think this is the ideal structure of our firm.
That's why leadership in work is not just something that must be exhibited by some specific person. Particularly in fields where our company stands where innovative ideas are required, leadership is necessary not only from managers like me who are at the top of the organization, but also from each and every employee. It is my role to bundle these various forms of leadership, and I think that this aggregation of intense leadership is what leads us to interesting jobs.And above all, I also want to work with people with strong leadership qualities. Being able to create such a powerful organization will lead to a management consulting firm demonstrating its true value. I believe that this is the best way to enrich the world, and that it our company who will make this possible.
With that said, what is leading to great motivation for me when tackling this job, is seeing the reliable and powerful growth of our young employees. The fact that young people with various visions and hopes join our company with high expectations, serves as further proof of our company's growth. Even if the person himself / herself does not realize it, I can clearly see a bright future and hope in my eyes. I am convinced that they will surely become an incredible consultant and it is my great motivation to realize these possibilities, as this is exactly the company's responsibility.Actually, even in the past few years, I've started to feel that this bright future has become more of a reality. It is my greatest pleasure to be able to see this growth up close, and I hope it will become the cornerstone to contributing greatly to society.
A hierarchy is important when you have to work as an organization, but it's irrelevant when exchanging wisdom as a team. For that purpose, we also want to continue creating an environment where each employee can work comfortably, and I would like to continue to further promote the creation of mechanisms to enable this. And above all, it is most important that our employees are happy. Although it may sound like a very simple thing, I believe that this fundamental way of doing business is important because in modern society with various individualities and personalities, it is what we have to keep pursuing the most.
