Unite the world with “health” as a key word

Our company is engaged in businesses such as therapist training and product / application development while also operating chiropractic clinics as our main business. We have been able to care for both the physical and mental with our BC theory, and we have supported total self-innovation. We have been recently aiming to disseminate Made in Japan contents to the world, and we have been developing health applications. I hope to build a worldwide platform with health and expand the "circle of people".

Made in Japan - a brand which the older generation cultivated. I would like to carry the torch in our generation and to deliver a new Made in Japan in the health division. With that vision in mind, I am developing businesses such as organizing hospitals, training therapists, and counseling. First of all, Japanese people are overstressed. There are many people who seem to overreact to things that they do not have to be sensitive about. Such a trend is seen also in terms of health, and as a matter of fact stiff shoulders are unique to the Japanese, and are not seen in other countries. This may have to do with the fact that there is a tendency to think of pain as a negative thing.

But there are positive types of pain, such as growth pains. If you only view it from one side, you will misunderstand the meaning of pain. I fully take this into account with my practice. Because humans are made up mainly of the body, brain, and mind, even if there is something wrong with one part, the body must be treated as a whole. Even if you treat only that one part of the body because the neck or shoulder hurts, treating only that part is very ineffective. I utilize the BC theory for body massages, fitness, mental care and other essential methods, to approach both the mind and body to help my patients "become who they want to be".

I want to contribute for the sake of the world, and for the sake of people. From an early age, that was my natural way of thinking. Maybe the influence of my father is big. My father was nice, and he often took me out to fish and catch insects. During these excapades, I was able to acquire the idea and attitude that it is natural to do something for people. What got me interested in the chiropractic practice was volleyball, which I had vigorously participated in since middle school. In high school, I became interested in becoming a sports trainer due to my experience of becoming injured and not being able to take part in a high school tournament, and I had a part time job at an orthopedic clinic, and spent the rest of my time spending hours studying at the library. I have the type of personality where if I start something, I want to see it through to the end.

At the time, I was on the volleyball team, but I gradually became interested in chiropractic as it was so interesting. And as I grew more passionate, I remembered the words my father once told me - "Become somebody who leaves footprints in this world." After graduating from university, I temporarily went a different path, but there were people who need my treatment all around me. Let's become a professional chiropractor. I made this decision and started down my current road.

I am aiming to "make the world one with health" at ALTURA. I plan to create a platform to accomplish that within our company. Only once that is done can I begin conversing with people while bringing up "health". It would be amazing to be able to realize such a society. As a first step, we are developing an application called "Dear Little" that utilizes AI technology. This application is a fully custom made application that can grasp somebody's total physical and mental health status. It is not unusual to feel that something is wrong with your body and for the appropriate information to not come up when searching it online.

So, I thought it would be useful if there were a service that you could use to check your condition immediately, and I started to develop it. Currently, we are aiming to release this in 2020. "Dear Little" being installed in every single smartphone. Such a future may become reality. Furthermore, we have begun hosting the "Therapists' Summit" from last year, to allow for interaction amongst all types of professionals around the world whose businesses are centered around health. We are scheduled to host this in Singapore this year. I feel that the global health consciousness has increased in recent years. We would like to be the focal point, and spread the Made in Japan orthopedic skills and health apps, and cause even a bigger stir in the world.
